Silk Worm is an artist and producer working in drag, dance, and performance. Silk maintains a regular practice as a drag performer at queer bars in San Francisco including the Stud and Aunt Charlie's Lounge, while her work made for galleries and theaters has been presented at the Cantor Center for the Arts, 2727 California Street, HIT Gallery, Marlboro College, h0L0, SET Studios, Litquake, the National Queer Arts Festival, and the Pittsburgh Performance Art Festival. As a producer she works primarily within HUSH-HUSH, a curatorial platform for emerging queer and trans artists making experimental work, and OX, a loose-knit collective of queer performers founded by artist Mica Sigourney. Silk is known as a very good sport.
