Winter 2017 Business School Roadshow

From February 6-9 2017, the British Council, with participating universities, hosted a series of events showcasing Master’s degrees in the business and administration field in the UK.

Counsellors, advisers, faculty and other professionals who advise students on postgraduate options were invited to join us for one of our afternoon briefings, where they met UK university representatives, learned about their programme offerings, and were guided through the admissions process.

Prospective students were invited to network with UK university representatives and their US-based alumni at our college fairs, where they gained useful information on choosing and applying to a course, work placements, scholarships and more.

Autumn 2016 Mid-Atlantic & Northeast Tour

From October 16-27 2016, students, parents, and college counselors were invited to meet with members of the British Council and UK universities to learn more about the UK higher education system.

Students and their parents were invited to join us for Education UK College Fairs in Washington DC (October 19)Alexandria, VA (October 20)Philadelphia, PA (October 24)Westchester (October 25)New York City (October 26) and Boston, MA (October 27). Students and parents could also find the participating universities at the NACAC National College Fair at the Baltimore Convention Center on October 17 and 18. 

College counselors were invited to join us for a series of counselor briefings, which included an overview of the UK’s higher education system and UCAS, as well as the opportunity to network with representatives from participating British colleges and universities.

Spring 2016 California Tour

From April 21-May 3 2016, students, parents, and college counselors were invited to meet with members of the British Council and UK universities to learn more about the UK higher education system.

Students and their parents were invited to join us for Education UK College Fairs in San Diego (April 21), Los Angeles (April 26), San Francisco (May 2), and San Jose (May 3) to meet representatives from participating British institutions and to learn more about study options in the UK.

Students and parents also met with participating universities at the NACAC National College Fairs in San Diego (April 20), Ventura/Tri-County (April 25), Los Angeles (April 28), and San Francisco (April 30). Participating universities hosted booths at the Out of State and International College Fairs in Whittier and Santa Anita Park on April 22 and April 26.

College counselors were invited to join us for a series of counselor briefings, which included an overview of the UK’s higher education system and UCAS, as well as the opportunity to network with representatives from participating British colleges and universities.

Spring 2016 Texas Tour

From April 4-11 2016, students, parents, and college counselors were invited to meet with members of the British Council and UK universities to learn more about the UK higher education system.

Students and their parents were invited to join us for the Education UK College Fair in Houston to meet representatives from participating British institutions and to learn more about study options in the UK.

Students and parents were also able to meet with participating universities at the NACAC National College Fair in Austin on April 5, the NACAC National College Fair in Dallas/Ft. Worth on April 7 and the TACAC Regional College Fair in San Antonio on April 6.

College counselors were invited to join us for a series of counselor briefings, which included an overview of the UK’s higher education system and UCAS, as well as the opportunity to network with representatives from participating British colleges and universities.
